In keeping with their custom of giving their children names inspired by movies, Trisha Paytas and her husband Moses Hacmon revealed that they welcomed their third child on July 12 and explained how they came up with Aquaman.
To come up with a baby name, Trisha Paytas traveled to Atlantis. In fact, she announced the name of her third child, Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, midway through the July 22 episode of her podcast Just Trish, after announcing that she and her husband, Moses Hacmon, had born their third child.
On the video podcast, Trisha made her debut with a superhero-style clothing reveal, first revealing an Aquaman figurine and then unzipping her jacket to reveal a bedazzled Aquaman t-shirt. Because it combined her love of movies with Moses’ love of water, they thought Aquaman was “so perfect” for the name of their baby child.
She said, “Not only is it so related to me, but it’s also so related to Moses.” The 37-year-old also revealed that she devoured as much Aquaman information as she could before deciding on the moniker, even though she has been a huge fan of the films since 2017.
“I’ve been wearing Aquaman t-shirts for years,” she said. “I’ve attended a lot of Aquaman comic events. And when we rewatched Aquaman, I fell deeply in love. I watched the cartoon, we watched every Aquaman movie, I watched everything.”
Trisha, who is also the mother of two-year-old Malibu Barbie and thirteen-month-old Elvis, actually saw a sign that indicated it was meant to be.
When we went to the doctor for a follow-up last week, it was a different doctor than ours, and they had this poster in their doctor’s office, so I know it was the right name,” she said. It was insane.
